Battery Gun

A bright and calm day in between yesterday's gale past and tomorrow's gale to come. It was too good an opportunity to miss. My lunch-time dander took me to Stornoway Battery which was the training camp for the Royal Naval Reserve, RNR. Some relatively recent excavations uncovered the two big guns, one of which is the subject of today's blip - with Arnish light in the 'line-of-sight'!
