5,000 Poppies.

Saw two ladies on breakfast TV this morning.  They started a project  in June to try and get 5,000 poppies made, from anything craft.  So, knitted, crocheted, material, paper and felt.

The idea is to fill Federation Square in Melbourne with all these poppies that will be put onto net, so that they can be hung up, in time for Anzac Day.  After that they are hoping to tour the poppies nationally.

Well, apparently they are well on there way to getting 200,000!!

As someone, who does craft I couldn't resist doing some too.  There are 7 here so far, I might see if I can get to 10.

I haven't got much time, they have to be in by March 15th.
