Looks like spring has sprung....gorgeous sky and sunshine today.  Zac and I went to the castle at Lunan....how it is still standing I really don't know, these mediaeval builders must have known their stuff.

I had expected to see some snowdrops up there, had a fancy for a photo of the ruins with the snowdrops bobbing in the breeze, but no luck.

To make up for it I stopped on the way home and picked some daffys ....I guess at some point the farmer has had the bulbs in the field and they escaped to the verge. I think sometimes they grown them for flower sales, but mostly they are making sure the bulbs are true, before digging them up and flogging them off to garden centres and the like.
