Farce

What started as a simple well ordered job to repair the pavement back in January has descended into a right shambles.  There seem to be different contractors on site every week doing different things, and making more and more of a mess.  The barriers and cones are becoming ever more disarrayed, spending more time on their sides than upright.  Will it ever end?
