Sounds like my kinda party!

This sign is at Northiam station on the K&ESR. I Had a relaxing drive down to Hawkhurst where I visited the Jepsons store - very wonderful shopping experience - and then on to Northiam for a coffee except the cafe was closed so I didn't. Instead I read for a while and had a chat with the stationmaster and watched a buzzard and a heron. Then back to Rolvenden and more sitting in the sun with a wonderful book and then I ferried Calum home.

This evening has featured more reading and steak and a salad and some local cider dry enough to strip the enamel from me teeth. All up a rather delightful day.
