A late Valentine for you!

Oh my dear friends, your response to yesterday's blip made me cry. Your kindness is beyond kindness, it’s something-ness for which I have no word. I am so pleased, really tickled, that many of you felt you shared my ferry trip for truly you were riding with me. I take you guys with me all over the place in my heart and my head. You are never far away, I think of Paula when I see stones and moss, gladders when I pat Lew, Chrysanthemum when I see trains or fields next to streams, SBM when I see anything ridiculous (or do anything ridiculous) or put on red shoes, Doingok when I am moved to tears by something beautiful and Cygnus when I’m by the sea. Clare will truly travel with me as I make a new life there because she is a ‘keeper’ and a buddy for all time. Cailleach brings me laughter and a brilliant turn of phrase that continuously astounds. Arachne has taught me to look for ‘Arachne shots’ though I never see them, my eye just isn’t attuned that way but I love the challenge of trying. Maria has a penchant for touching on the importance of our thoughtfully interacting that has often given me fodder for reflection. Through Gowangirl I relive memories of my children’s babyhood and am richer for the recollections. MegB, Soletrader, and so many others whom I don’t know well but who still take the time to send lovely wishes! Amazing. Truly amazing!
