I am a little ashamed.

On many of my c.v.s I have listed fellwalking as a pastime.
( For some reason it is said that this inclines prospective employers to trust you - I suppose it is a better indicator than pub crawling.)
I am also a Yorkshireman.
Now Yorkshire famous 3 Peaks are Ingleborough, Whernside and Pennyghent. I have been up the first two but when pressed hard I have to admit that I have never reached the top of Pennyghent. Its name is thought to mean the hill on the border. It is 2277 ft. high and has lovely purple saxifrage growing on it it. That is it in the photo above.
Mrs. K. says this summer I should do something about it. Perhaps on a fine day just after my 80th. I should make the effort. Watch this space.
