Morning sky-line from Arolla, Vallais

This was the one of the first views of the high Alps I ever had 41 years ago. Shocked by the sheer scale of things after the Lake District, Wales, Scotland, I did not know how I could possibly dare to approach such summits. The answer was then as it is now, when you have a huge task to do, just take it moment by moment, step by step and enjoy the journey.
(No access to the internet for 2 days made me realise that I am hooked to Blipfoto so please forgive my lack of comments! We are off again tomorrow - Lake Neuchatel, I'll try to keep up!)
