Straw

is not hay.

I am learning lots of stuff I may never need. It is certainly an interesting project and about half the bales went in today. There were plenty of jobs to keep us all busy and working with other people of various nationalities and expertise is challenging especially when I have little idea of how to build a house. It was cold last night, down to about 8 degrees but felt colder in the van. I will wear warmer " thermal long johns" to bed tonight. The weather today was perfect and I don't think I thought of home or work once.
