Books

I had a lovely day shopping, and finally bought myself a Kindle. I feel slightly guilty, as I love books. There's something about a favourite paperback that's been shared among friends - it's worn, well read pages - and seeing your favourites, and those waiting to be read, stacked on the shelf. But after chatting with the librarian at work, we agreed that we should move with the times. After all the book in some form has been around since 7000 BC, with the printing press invented in 1440, and the first paperback in the 1930s - so ebooks are really just the next step...
