The last full day in 'Brissie' and spent several hours of it with Gaill a 'Brisbane Greeter'. The Greeters are part of a global group of people who volunteer to share their knowledge of their city with visitors..and it's free!!
G took me on a journey of discovering lanes, public art and parks and Brisbane's colonial and Aboriginal history.
Such a wonderful way to learn about this fantastic city.

While waiting for the 'cherry ferry' that zigzags across the river this lass was practicing her drumming skills on a South Bank bench..
