Dragon Boats

Some of Mike's work mates had entered a dragon boat race in Barrow Upon Soar so we popped over to have a look. We only watched the first heat as Tobes kept wanting to go in the river and splodge in all the cow pats. They won their first race.
After a quick visit to Andrew & Katies to catch up with James we headed home so Tobes could have a sleep and we could get on with some DIY. Filled a skip with builders rubble but we miscalculated how much there was and we need another skip. We then did a bit of painting as well - the work on the house still feels never ending. Loving this sunshine.
