Orchid Popow

My husband grows orchids as a hobby so they are subjects of many of my photos. I am now experimenting with lighting. Instead of investing in expensive equipment, I am trying to use whatever I can find around the house. This shot was taken with steady light from a small spot light and flashlight, adjusting the camera settings to limiting the background light.
The orchid is a Phragmipedium, Hanne Popow.
