Anniversary Dinner

It's not technically our anniversary until Sunday, however we're staying over at Norton House (where we were married) tonight. Mrs mono doesn't work Fridays, and I had taken a half day, so we were able to unload the kids on my parents for the night and head to the hotel to make use of the gym & pool etc. Our overnight stay included 3-course dinner, which obviously had to be the chorizo salad starter followed by the steak. Despite the meal including dessert (lemon cheesecake for me), they also brought us out this plate with some fudge and marshmallow type stuff which was quite nice. 

The meal was lovely, and, although large enough, I wasn't stuffed to capacity - I almost ordered myself another portion of the triple-cooked chips to eat whilst I had a beer in the bar afterwards, but managed to restrain myself.
