Tiny details

Mum bought two pots of miniature irises and they have delighted us with their charm. I thought mine had finished, when one more flower appeared, all on its own.  I've used a very shallow depth of field to emphasise the patterns on the throat of the flower.

We had such a good committee meeting this morning.  Tony and Marie have been working hard to come up with routes for the Autumn Festival AND for next Spring. Wow!  Both draft programmes already look very good.  The plan is to check the new (challenging) routes for viability this summer, so we are not trying to do that in the winter.  (The plan also is that they will spend a few weeks in the sun next winter!!)

Only 2 sleeps and then I'll be meeting Molly the gorgeous collie on her way north to Edinburgh.  Ann will be there too!
