Confrontation

It has been more than a month since I posted a blip from my  park. Frigid temperatures, with lots of snow and freezing rain, made walking in the park impractical and even dangerous for days on end. I posted some through-the-kitchen-window blips, and I have some back blips still to post, but finally today I was able to take a walk in the park. Heading for my favorite fence, I soon witnessed a confrontation between a lady red-bellied woodpecker and a male cardinal. The cardinal was pushy, but Mrs. RBW wasn't giving an inch.
