MonoMonday - Exits and Entrances

A friend told me about a stone gate that I might like to blip for MonoMonday. I had another one in mind that I had photographed and painted a few years ago but all of the the gorgeous trees have been chopped down, making it rather uninteresting. 
This is at the entrance to the local granite quarry. The entrance was backlit and hard to see as the sun had dipped down behind the forest. A truck came speeding in which created so much dust it just about obscured the entrance. It could have been a great shot but too dark, unfortunately. I trespassed to take this from the exit side looking towards the road once the truck had disappeared as I like the texture in the rough hewn granite.
