One Elephant Out
Blawin a hoolie it is just now. Especially down here over the river with nothing to stop it.
After taking hundreds of photos over the years I'm not sure how many more photos I'll be able to take like this down here. Or even what's planned for the old stumps now that a developers have moved in to build 'luxury' accommodation on the land next to The Shore. Their first job seems to have been to stop anyone accessing the area by patching the well established holes in the fence and sticking up warning signs that Big Brother is watching. Thankfully the locals who walk their dogs down here and those that just like to wander down for a bit a view over down the Forth don't give a flying fig about that and have promptly taken the wire snips out to keep this little area open for the moment.
Based on the amount of water that's filling the river down here, and all over the rest of the country, I hope that whoever moves in to the new housing has a good supply of wellies.
Manually counting the exposure on this, trying to stay on my feet (and out of the Forth) at the same time as shielding the camera from the waves splashing over the harbour wall. Using the old 'one elephant... two elephant...' system to count out a sixty second exposure. Missed it by one.
