La Città dei Sassi

Which means The City of Stones.

It is a stunningly beautiful ski run through a rock fall that must have happened thousands of years ago when half the mountain fell down.

We have had a great day and skied round the Sella Ronda circuit.  The creepy thing is that the lift pass system keeps a complete track of where you have been and at the end of the day you can log on to their website and see all the stats of your activity.

It tells us that we skied 32km with a total height of 5,300 metres.   Not bad for a couple of 'oldies' on our first day.

Sadly,  Nikonabike fell this afternoon and dislocated his shoulder which puts paid to his week's skiing.

I think that Jane's blip will be remarkably similar to mine
