Poor doors
Rich door,
Poor door,
Know your place,
Hide your face,
Be grateful for
Crumbs from the table.

This is what I am talking about ... it seems London is not for ordinary Londoners any more. What sort of a society are we becoming?
Thankfully this particular block is being redeveloped by Hackney Council as housing association/shared ownership flats.
We had travelled up to London (in a large white van) to help Tash move out of her flat and come back home for a while before she goes off to El Salvador in April. Speaking of which....
Tash will be working as a volunteer through the International Citizenship Service (ICS) (who are backed by the Dept for International Development.) The particular charity she will be working for is called Progressio. They work with poor communities around the world, helping them to develop their own resources in order to overcome the barriers of poverty and health.
Volunteers are fully funded by the charity, but are required to raise funds to help the charity to continue its work. So, and I know I am being a bit cheeky here, but if you feel you would like to help, please feel free to donate via Tasha's page at www.justgiving.com/tashabee
Many thanks x
