Good Start To The Day

An overnight frost and sun this morning made the walk to start Granny Duty very pleasant

Upon arrival discovered that all the handles had been taken off the doors leading onto the hall - stairs - and landing - decoration being started today

After breakfast 4yo followed myself and 6yo into the lounge - shutting the door behind her - and locking us in

Luckily for us - there is an internal door leading from the lounge into the dining room - with handle intact - allowing access back into the hall - to find the necessary handle bits to then open the lounge door

Good job - otherwise would have ended up climbing out of the lounge window - which may have amused the neighbours - but perhaps not me - would not have been the good start the day I envisaged
