River Thames Wallingford

Fishing today took me to The River Thames at Wallingford. I was pleased when I drew the swim at the cemetery car park as I knew the overhanging trees in that part of the river on the far side provided brilliant cover for the large shoals of chub.Imagine my disappointment when I saw what someone had done to the 36 willows along the far bank, not to mention all the branches etc that were left to fall into the river. Needles to say the fish had migrated to other areas.
