Find a place where people smoke is probably a good street photography tip. This is outside Next, Dunfermline High Street. 

I was thinking of getting a compact fixed lens camera, they sound pretty expensive. Much discussion on compact vs smart phone. I will it leave it for now. Why do we obsess about equipment, when alot of this is about looking and thinking. As I seem to repeatedly blip, with the smart phone people don't notice you taking picture.
