Dant y llew

The weather started the week cold and wet, and brightened with every passing day. We could tell that the next day was going to be bright because the dandelions stayed open.

Dant y llew is the Welsh for dandelion (dent-de-lion). Shropshire may not be in Wales ... but it's close.
