Oskar Turns 10!
What a beautiful day for a 10th birthday! A walk in the warm sunshine, and then I was struck with a burst of energy so painted the stairway hall walls, finally. Looks good, but you know how it goes,.... you start and then there's another wall crying for paint--so not done yet.
Oskar is our "family guy" - he's very attached to the whole family -(we're counting on him to keep up the ancestry stuff...) so
the whole family who were available (one cousin was babysitting and his Dad was late from golf seminar in Portland) went to celebrate, bring presents, and sing Happy Birthday to him and eat cake and ice cream. Everyone got a hug and a thank you for coming to his birthday!
I've tried to get a photo of everyone there for the birthday (except the photographer of course) as a record for him on flickr. He started out by "presenting" to everyone his 'minime" knitted boy that I made who now has a seahawks helmit that just fits ---ta da! The cake was a seahawks cake (of course) and he had the best smile for the birthdday money he got!
