a late afternoon walk 3

thank you all for your beautiful blips of daffodils, croci, snow drops and everything else that comes with spring.  our spring bulbs are still buried deep beneath the snow.  

but….  i was out walking today and saw these maple buds, just beginning to swell.  soon, i thought.  sap buckets will be hung.  maple syrup will follow.  but not quite yet.  i blip this very subtle first sign of spring in maine.   thanks to all who have kept me going with glorious spring photos.  i promise i will reciprocate, just not sure when.

heading off to make french toast (with true maple syrup!!) for dinner in celebration.
