Obverse

The inside of this. I hadn't intended for this to be my photo of the day, but when I saw the colours on my screen I couldn't resist it. We just popped our heads in (the place was closed for a concert) to see the newly-unveiled vaulted ceiling, which had been under repair since the earthquake in 2008. I was just about able to take a photo from an awkward angle.

First day of spring today--the clocks leapt forward, the temperature leapt up, and the sun beat down on us relentlessly. Long may it continue.
