Shoreditch angel

Looking down on Rivington Street.  Seen as I walked from Old Street to Shoreditch High St this afternoon as the Overground was closed for engineering works.
Then met up with a group of trainee Tower Hamlets guides for a fascinating tour of Bethnal Green. Couldn't dawdle and take photos as much as I'd have liked. It's a fascinating area on the cusp of change, like most of London at the moment. The aim of the guiding group is to raise awareness of its heritage.
