Gateway to St James' Church
After lunch Clickychick suggested we went out for a walk. The weather was looking good and in the garden it felt very mild. We decided to head to a nearby village to a walk where CC had seen deer and Red Squirrels in the past.
Stepping out of the car we realised just how sheltered the garden must have been! There was a strong wind blowing with quite a wind chill. As the path runs through trees the wind was broken a little.
Unfortunately there were no deer or squirrels lots of birds but none prepared to pose! So we strolled through carpets of Snowdrops and almost open Daffodils. Half way along the route sits St Jame's Church virtually in the middle of a field. This shot is one of the gates which enter the church yard.
