New Glasses

Today was not a good day to go into town as Junction 10/10A is shut all weekend for some of the final works around the new junction (which I have to say is already working very well and cutting 5-10 minutes of queuing off of my journey home in the week), so a lot of traffic is diverted through the town.
Having walked into town to avoid driving in the traffic, my first call was to collect my new glasses, having had an eye test 3 weeks ago. I picked up my new glasses and also bought an extra pair - though these aren't the right prescription!
After that I got my son to pick me up (see how I got out of driving in the chaos!), to go to that well known gents outfitters - B&Q. He is starting his first job on Monday as a driver (he has what used to be called HGV Class 2 plus all the other bits of plastic that he needs), and needed some PPE. I bought him the full set of everything that he was likely to need as a driver - it saves going back on a second visit, and then we headed home.
So my blip is a 2 Ronnies style version of one of my new pairs of glasses and my Comic Relief pair.
