Spring Comes to Paris!

The first warm Sunday, and everybody in Paris was out and about.  In the late afternoon we went to the Parc Monsouris, three bus stops from our apartment, where we regularly bumped into people on the walkways.  This image includes only about half of a wonderful play area, which was even more crowded than the sidewalks, as you can see.

Our friend Heidi left early to return to Frankfurt--she was suffering from allergies and possibly a cold.  I accompanied her to her train at the Gare de l'Est, which happily is a direct Metro journey from us (on Line #7).
