Lazy Sunday morning

Pop up cafe at Danescroft Cottage, which is just down the lane from us, to raise funds for some local charities. This is a gorgeous home and gardens, with lots of spots to sit and rest a while.

Sat on the rocking chair by the pond just drinking in the warmth of sun, watching the geese and listening to the smaller birds in the trees when a flash of blue caught my attention, a kingfisher flying alongside the river.

Definitely a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning and quite hard to leave it all behind. Thanks Judith and Steve for allowing us to share your home and garden and for the scrummy breakfast.
