The Train in the Landscape

Loco 43924 chugs off into the sunset, hauling its vintage maroon carriages and reminding me of train watching (nothing so grand as train spotting) as a youngster with my brother.   We even used to wave to the train, just as they did in ‘The Railway Children’.   Happy Days.
