Afan Argoed Forest Park

Had a lovely walk this afternoon with Mr M, Young Master M and The Girls. It's been a while since we've been to Afan Argoed and the scenery has changed quite a lot, with many diseased trees having to be felled. It's a real shame, but there are still some stunning views and The Girls love the woods and open spaces to run mad in.

Yesterday's trip to see the ice hockey was eventful. The Cardiff Devils beat the Dundee Stars 12-0, which is the biggest score line we've ever seen. Possibly more exciting was the biggest fight we've ever seen on the ice, involving 10+ men. Helmets & gloves were off!  All three referees were needed to separate them. Two men got sent off completely and at least four were sent to the 'Sin Bin'. Needless to say, the boys were very entertained and videoed all the action!
