Windermere

Awoke to heavy rain and trepidation at the thought of a long walk to the start of today's orienteering. Dire warnings had been issued regarding linear parking so it was an early start.

The rain stopped and the light improved. Fortunately I took the camera with me to registration as there were a number of opportunities for photography as some of the yachts were preparing to sail.

Despite 40minutes and 100m climb to get to the start I really enjoyed my run today in technical terrain. I was one of the first starters and the area was wonderfully quiet. a quick turn round and we were soon on the way home.
