Pie in the sky

Yet another blue sky backdrop. I make no apologies for this as we live in Scotland and you gotta take the blue skies where you find them. They are not to be sniffed at.

Little D and Miss A are intent on getting as messy and muddy as humanly possible at every opportunity. Their ability to have covered themselves head to toe in mud within 30 seconds of being outdoors brings constant amazement. There are regular hosing down periods through the day just to keep them from cracking in the sun.

The perils of trying to take photos of such messiness is that you have to run for cover when they come charging at you and your camera with a mud pie. Case in point, above. Just as well I'm a champion sprinter!
