Mugdock Castle

The sun broke through today and there was a determination to get out after a sodden Saturday. Mugdock Country Park was bedecked by snowdrops near the castle. As I circulated with my camera a young lady eyed up this fallen tree trunk, hauled herself on to it, swung up her legs and proceeded to lie back on the broad trunk, close her eyes and bask in the sun - oblivious to everything. I thought this encapsulated how people felt about the day - after yesterday, you had to squeeze every ounce of sunshine from it! I also noticed that the girl's outfit and hair colour blended so harmoniously into the woodland setting - the perfect model! And a unique moment in time.
