A dull & overcast morning in Llandovery so with the weekend off we drove to the Elan valley reservoirs. We made the right decision it was a lovely sunny day but very windy. We stopped at the visitors centre  & had a walk up to the first dam Caban Coch the water was flowing over the wall, it looked amazing & the noise of the water up close was quite defenning.
From there we drove around the other 5 dams, where we met with 100's of runners doing the Rhyader round the lakes 20 marathon.
