International Women's Day

Today is International Women's Day and I am supposed to be celebrating it with my mum, my sister and my niece in the sunshine on a cultural 'Girl's Week Out'.

Instead, because of a plane cancellation first, followed by three cancelled sailings, I am still stuck on an Aegean island in the rain.

If I'm lucky I'll get there only three days late & still in time for mum's birthday. If I'm unlucky and another cancellation rears it's ugly head I may have to consider giving up. It starts to become silly when the travelling time is longer than the time spent together.
