All Saints church. Old Byland

On the 7th June 1922 the whole village of Old Byland was up for auction at the Royal Station Hotel in York. This included nine freehold farms, eleven smallholdings, an Inn, a school and a blacksmith's workshop.

This is a fragment of All Saints church at Old Byland near Rievaulx. I do photograph the whole of the interior but certain elements catch my attention and it is these 'nuances' that I prefer to offer up for comment on blipfoto.
