Lungwort

Today we went to look for a new floor for the living room, dining room and hallway. Our house has its original red deal floor boards, but over the years electricians and plumber have butchered them, so while you could sand and then polish them up, they would never look good with the cracks, cuts and holes. Calling it a character floor doesn't cut it, they will forever be ruined by circular saws, brute force and ignorance.

We found several nice grain and colours of oak topped engineered woods, which should last long enough for us, it's just a shame that they are just planks - we'd both love to have a parquet floor.

Today's blip is a lungwort flower in the front garden.
