North Street, Wareham

This view was taken at the northern end of North Street, looking southwards, with the top of the Purbeck Ridge (a range of hills stretching from Studland to Lulworth) discernible in the far background.  The precise viewpoint is shown on the map.

Shops and other businesses are concentrated around the centre of town, conveniently marked here by the Town Hall spire; the closest of the houses seen here are residential only.
