Blue: Waiting for summer

In boat bay we have a new neighbor - a blue boat (ours is the first red one). On my 4,6km nordic walk to the lake I was happy noticing that soil was partly free of ice and here and there even soft already.

Tried to learn something new today. There is a blur & bokeh effect in the blip made in Photoshop Elements 12. Not too fancy nor too handy to make I think. But sometimes useful maybe... Nice to know the possibility.

Misty and grey day. Again. Warm, even +6c in the evening... Seen some 40 Bohemian Waxwings, but due the grey weather they were hardly recognizable.

After few months I'll try to move - clumsily or flexible - into our boat and row here and there on the lake. Just thinking of that makes me smile... ;)

Yes,... fishing maybe, or reading a book lying in a boat...  Well, maybe I 'll do all of that, if the knee already allows me to. Last summer I could not step into the boat (or out) due the injure knee. It has healed slowly, but is so much better already!

Sunday. Drove to the country to cut grandpa's apple trees in the afternoon, but he did not let me to do that. "Men's job" he said. So be it. Whitw, cold mist was so strong over the road, that you hardly could see only some 150-200meters.
