Thomas and the Make Over

Ever since becoming the star of a major Hollywood motion picture, Thomas has become a very arrogant little engine. He now thinks that he is the most important train in Sodor and is loath to be seen with the other trains. In fact, he is even embarassed by his own carriages and has asked the Fat Controller never to couple him with Clarabelle ever again. Of course, the Fat Controller told him not to be so pompous and said that if he ever gets above his station like that again he will have him shunting trucks in the sidings for a month.

Apalled at this affront to his dignity, Thomas phoned his agent in Beverly Hills and asked him to send the top metallurgist in Hollywood to Sodor to give his chassis a make over which would prove to the Fat Controller once and for all that he deserved finer carriages than those he was being forced to pull around. Well, you can see the result for yourself, can't you? Doesn't he look silly? That just goes to show you, boys and girls; never be snooty, proud or vain. Thomas has promised to be a good little engine from now on, but I'm afraid he may be too late.
