Stray Bittern Strut

One of the best days I've had at Nisqually.  On my way out it was pretty sparse but heading back I saw Bald Eagles, Bufflehead putting on quite a display, Herons and the star attraction an American Bittern.  Fairly rare here, last one I saw was two years ago.  This one was about 5 feet from me down an embankment.  There was a dozen odd people taking his picture and he strutted back and forth totally ignoring us all.  I had so many good shots I had a tough time deciding which to blip.  If you're interested the rest are here.
