Dandelion

This is a sure sign of spring. Dandelions are not as common were I live now as they are in my old home country of Sweden. 

Instead we have lawn mums (lawn chrysantemums). They are quite similar to dandelions in appearance, but with different stems. A real dandelion has a thick, tube-like stem. The stems of lawn mums are thin and thread-like.
