Success!!

Gosh it's been a long day! We arrived at the YFC Competitions venue at 10am this morning.

 First on were the Junior Reading team pictured above. They did a brilliant job and are now through to the National finals later this year. They were very happy bunnies as you can imagine. What little stars they are at 12, 13, and 14 years old!

 My other team of Junior Public speakers were not so lucky today being placed 6th, a rather disappointing  result, and one we struggled to get our heads round. However there were only 6 points between 1st and 6th so it was a very tight competition.

 Mr Tbays team of After Dinner Speakers came in a very respectable 4th so a good effort for them!  We stayed after the Public Speaking was over and watched the Jump Rope Competition followed by the Pop Dancing Competition, both of which were terrific fun to watch. 

As time had marched on Mr Tbay was forced to buy supper again, this time at a little Italian resaurant, which was very nice.

Farming - Nothing much today!

So its off to bed emotionally drained! So happy for some and so disappointed for others, but hey that's competition for you! As a result of today I can predict a much quieter week ahead!!
