Ever cheerful!

What a lovely sunny day it was. As we made our usual Saturday morning trip to the library I spotted loads of bumblebees and butterflies fluttering about - they must have decided spring is here too!

The footpath alongside the renovated Walronds has reopened so we now have a great new route we can take home, enjoying the landscaping around the building http://www.walronds.com

We also packed in a trip to the tip to get rid of the kaput microwave and other odds and ends, and Leo got stuck into his literacy homework. He had to create a model or picture relating to Narnia as they are reading The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe at school. He drew a wardrobe on some shiny card and then put stickers of a Lion a witch and some children on it, then spelled out the book title in sticker letters. He then declared he had had his fill of arty things so I took the hint and kept his Toucan box stashed away for another day :)
