Purple Rain

Down at Caol tonight to get fish and chips for dinner. Waiting for them to be ready I ventured along the shore a bit with the camera. If anyone saw me they would have thought I was off my head. I couldn't compose this shot through the viewfinder nor could I prefocus or use the self timer as the rain splashed the lens so quickly. It was roughly tripod mounted, pointed in the general  direction, lens cap off and button pushed immediately. In spite of that there are still droplets on the lens
