Wild Day

Another blip meet today at Crummock Water with ChrisA and IAE.  It was very wild with 56 mph winds!!  We could barely stand up when we got to the lake but at least it wasn't raining.  Thank goodness one side of the lake is fairly sheltered with woodland for part of the way so we didn't get battered too much.  We would have got drenched if we'd tried walking the other side as water was being blown sky high over the weir bridges.

Afterwards we had a lovely lunch at the Kirkstile Inn and we only got there just in time before they stopped serving food.  They are dog friendly so Misty came too which was a new experience for her and she loved all the attention she was getting.  She soon settled down even though there was another dog a few tables away.
